MISSION AND OUTREACH

The Overbrook congregation gives more than ten percent of our income to mission, outreach, and ministry activities that extend around the globe.

The cornerstone of our mission is the use of the church’s facilities by community organizations. This contribution alone is valued at $370,000 each year. Organizations sharing the building include the Overbrook Preschool and Kindergarten, Alcoholics Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, Al-Anon, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Twigs Mother’s Group, Overbrook Farms Club, and the Philadelphia Presbytery.

Our members provide meals at the Community Life Center at 63rd & Market Streets at least four times a year.
