Adult Forum

Our wonderful Advent tradition continues this year! The Overbrook Quartet will sing selected arias from Handel’s Messiah, and the audience (that’s you!) has the opportunity to sing some of the most famous choruses in the literature. No score? No problem—we’ll lend you one. Don’t want to sing? Come enjoy the music anyway! A free-will offering will be taken, with a reception to follow.

Adult Education

Christian education is not just for children and youth. It is a lifelong process of growing in faith. At Overbrook, we offer a number of different opportunities for adults to explore the Christian faith in depth, and to work out the meaning of our faith in today’s world.

Adult Forum

Adult Forum meets on Zoom on the 3rd and 4th Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM. Check out our Gatherings for details on upcoming forums.

Bible Study

A weekly Bible Study group meets each Wednesday morning at 10:30 am at Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El or online. Usually led by the Pastor, this study focuses on a particular book of the Bible or biblical theme. It offers a discussion-based format where all people can contribute and learn from each other.

Other Opportunities

Throughout the year, other programs and events are offered for adults. These include lectures, retreats, workshops, book clubs, film discussions, museum tours, and short-term study groups. Check our Gathering to the left.
