What We Believe
At the heart of our faith is the belief that God’s love is revealed to us most fully in Jesus Christ—his life, death, and resurrection. Through Christ, we find reconciliation with God and with one another. As Presbyterians, our faith is rooted in the Reformed tradition, and grounded in Scripture.
We believe that it is important to love God not only with the heart, but also with the mind. So we take a thoughtful approach to the Christian faith that is open to new insights and leaves room for asking questions.
In our congregation, there exists a wide variety of theological viewpoints, and we respect that diversity without expecting everyone to come down in exactly the same place.
For a contemporary statement of what Presbyterians believe, "A Brief Statement of Faith" is a good summary.
